Cork College of FET’s Ger O’ Callaghan represents Ireland in Paris
Cork College of FET Bishopstown Campus is proud to extend its heartfelt best wishes to Craft Butchery instructor Ger O’Callaghan as he compete in the prestigious World Butchery Challenge in Paris. This event, often referred to as the “Olympics of Meat,” brings together the finest butchers from around the globe to showcase their skills and creativity.
Ger O’Callaghan, known for his exceptional craftsmanship and dedication to the art of butchery, will represent Ireland in this competition. The World Butchery Challenge is set to take place at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, where participants will demonstrate their expertise in various butchery techniques and innovative meat presentations.
The entire Cork College of FET community is incredibly proud of Ger’s achievements and wishes him the very best as he competes on the world stage. His participation in this event not only highlights his personal talent but also underscores the high standards of training and education provided to our Craft Butchery Apprentices.
