Fees are not charged for courses run by Cork College of FET, Bishopstown Campus.

If you are undertaking a full-time course with Cork College of FET, Bishopstown Campus, and are currently receiving a social welfare payment, then you may be entitled to be paid a training allowance.

Training allowances are also paid to Craft apprentices who are attending their off the job training in Cork College of FET, Bishopstown Campus, Cork College of FET, Mallow Campus or Munster Technological University (MTU).

Full time learners:

Full-time leaners who are in receipt of social welfare benefit before their course starts will have their payment transferred to Cork ETB/Bishopstown Campus for the duration of the course.

Apprentice Pay:

Craft apprentices who are attending Phase Two off the job training in Cork College of FET, Bishopstown Campus or Phase Four and Six in Cork College of FET, Mallow Campus or MTU will be paid a training allowance for the duration of their phase release.
